Supermercats Veritas are a chain of Spanish supermarkets specialising in organic produce. Established in Barcelona in 2002 and now with 13 shops across the Catalonia region, Supermercats Veritas is one of Spain's leading organic chains.
As an innovative and forward-looking company, the initial success of Ecoveritas has been based on a clear concept of 'normalising' organic food consumption. Supermercats Veritas sell over 500,000 organic, free-range whole eggs a year and use another 50,000 eggs as ingredients in their range of own label products.
