BIO-Hotels is an association of organic hotels across Europe with 60 hotels in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, France and the Republic of Ireland. BIO-Hotels requires all the meals served in its hotels to be made from organic produce. Free-range organic eggs are part of a strong sustainability policy with the aim to make tourism more ecological.

BIO-Hotels uses its purchasing policy, working closely together with national companies, to determine how the food they serve is produced. Farm animal welfare is a core part of their ethics.
