Director of Media
Location: Godalming, Surrey
Salary: Circa £50,000
Compassion in World Farming is the recognised leading charity for farm animal welfare, with a highly successful record of campaigning, lobbying and educating in the UK, the EU and internationally.
As part of the ongoing growth and development of our organisation, we are looking to appoint a Director of Media to develop and implement visionary communications strategies in the UK and internationally and to drive all media activity including cutting-edge investigative work. Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role will operate as part of the Senior Management Team and therefore, in addition to developing a highly impactful media profile, the successful applicant will play a role in the strategic development of Compassion in World Farming.
Already in a senior media relations role, your background is likely to be a blend of agency and in-house experience, ideally with an exposure to working in an NGO environment. With demonstrable experience managing across a breadth of media channels, you will have the ability and desire to both lead at a strategic level and operate in a hands-on capacity simultaneously.
If you are looking for the next challenge in your career and have the talent, gravitas and passion to help us achieve our ambitious plans, we would love to hear from you.
To apply, please email your CV and a covering letter (stating where you saw the job) detailing why you are ideal for the job to Lynnette Bevan at lynnette@ciwf.org
