Head of Campaigns

Salary £42,000 plus benefits

Compassion in World Farming is recognized as the leading international farm animal welfare organisation actively campaigning to improve the lives of farmed animals all around the world. Set up 40 years ago CIWF has a tremendous track record in achieving real change for farm animals. Carrying out hard hitting political lobbying in the UK, the EU and internationally, CIWF undertake investigations and campaigns designed to achieve better standards and happier lives for farmed animals.

To manage the continued development and implementation of such campaigns on a global scale CIWF seek a Head of Campaigns to join the senior management team. You will be responsible for the campaigns budget worldwide and the delivery of all programmes as directed by the Director of Programmes to whom you will report and deputise. You will lead a team of HQ based campaign coordinators as well as regional coordinators and other global based representatives. Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of EU and UK political institutions together with a proven track record of managing a team and delivering successful campaigns within an NGO or charitable organisation.
