How Legacies Help

Gifts from Wills make up between a third and a half of Compassion in World Farming’s income. We do not receive any government aid and so rely entirely on legacies and donations to fund our work. Without gifts from Wills we simply could not continue to do what needs to be done to advance the wellbeing of farm animals around the world, now and in the future.

Compassion in World Farming is now the leading charity campaigning exclusively for the welfare of farm animals. With a gift in your Will you could help fund our work in a number of important areas:

Investigations

• Our undercover team gathers evidence to expose farm animal suffering, used to enforce welfare guidelines and to assist in lobbying and policy making. We also produce films for documentaries and news broadcasts.

Research

• We produce scientifically credible reports to influence our campaigns and drive forward change.

Food Business

• We positively engage with the food industry to encourage and facilitate higher standards of farm animal welfare.

Education

• We produce a range of educational resources for teachers and students around the world and organise international conferences for key animal welfare scientists and policy makers.
