How "excellent" is Compassion in World Farming?

News Section Icon Published 17/08/2011

Compassion in World Farming is pleased to announce that its Annual Review 2009/2010 has been shortlisted for the Third Sector Excellence Awards 2011!
Third Sector is the UK's leading publication for everyone who needs to know what's going on in the voluntary and not-for-profit sector.

Compassion CEO, Philip Lymbery says: "Our annual review 2009/2010 highlights our key achievements accomplished together with our supporters that year. Creating a sustainable, cruelty-free future does not come without its challenges or without remarkable commitment and support from likeminded individuals and organisations. We are delighted that our annual review has been recognised by Third Sector. We will continue to campaign to improve the lives of  millions of farm animals and will proudly publish our results in our annual reviews."

Method of judging

The judges considered all entries, looking for examples of excellence that contributed to the overall success of the annual reports. The category was very well received this year,  with over 30 entrants. We have been told that all the entrees were very high in calibre and the judges were unanimous in their thoughts and scoring for Compassion's entry.  The judges felt our Annual Review very much deserved it's place in the shortlist.
