If you’re not happy with what your supermarket is doing – shop somewhere else! Try a more compassionate supermarket or look for certified free-range and organic produce at farmers' markets, independent shops or online delivery schemes.

Use supermarket customer comment cards to voice your concerns about animal welfare. Stores only sell what their customers will buy, so ask them to raise their standards. If you don’t tell them they won’t know that farm animal welfare matters to you. Customer choices change animals’ lives.
