Biohurt specialises in the manufacture and distribution of organic food, supplying around 100 shops in northern Poland. All products made and sold by Biohurt contain free-range organic eggs. Organic products and organic ingredients are important to Biohurt on both environmental and animal welfare grounds.

"Our offer contains only cage-free eggs, mainly from small environment-friendly farms. We would like to win the award for prestigious reasons, to promote it, but mainly to popularize the idea of animal-friendly farming."
