Dr John Powles

John is a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Public Health, University of Cambridge. He has published on the joint benefits - to health and to climate change abatement - of reducing meat consumption in the UK. He has led work on the global burden of disease attributable to excess salt intake, contributed to assessments of the east-west gap in adult health levels in Europe and published on public health policy in developed countries.
