If you’re thinking about leaving a gift in your Will to Compassion in World Farming, there are a number of ways our friendly Legacy team can help you.

Write your Will for free
To help with the Will-writing process, we offer two ways that Compassion supporters can write or update their Will, free of charge, either face-to-face, online or over the telephone.
The National Free Wills Network
This offer applies to the writing of a simple Will, by a local, qualified solicitor, the cost of which will be passed on to Compassion in World Farming.
If the chosen solicitor advises that the Will is likely to be more complicated, you will be asked to cover the additional cost. Should this be the case, it is of course your decision whether to proceed.
Our Will-writing service with the National Free Wills Network is available to anyone living in the UK, of any age, and is available all year round.
Farewill
Compassion has partnered with Farewill to offer a free online and telephone Will-writing service to our supporters. It allows you to write your Will at any time, at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home.
All Wills are checked by Farewill’s in-house specialists, and the cost of the Will (£90) will be covered by Compassion.
The online Will-writing service is available to people living in England and Wales, while the telephone service is offered UK-wide.
Information to include in your Will
Should you wish to include Compassion in World Farming in your Will, you will need to use certain legal wording:
For a residual gift (all or a percentage of the estate, once all other bequests and costs have been deducted):
