Thank you for your interest in campaigning to end Scottish live exports. This action is now closed.
The Scottish Government's consultation on live exports - which, shockingly, failed to include proposals for banning the trade - closed on 26th February 2021.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to 28,877 compassionate people who emailed Fergus Ewing, Scotland's Cabinet Secretary for Rural Economy, urging him to ban all live exports from Scotland for slaughter and fattening. Your voices for animals helped maximise the impact of our response to the consultation.
We will keep up the pressure on the Scottish Government to end this cruel trade and help pave the way to a Great British live export ban.
