Alexandra Bastedo

Alexandra has been a patron for around 15 years. As an actress, she is best known for her role as Sharon Macready in “The Champions.” She still undertakes theatre and TV work.

Alexandra has run an animal sanctuary for 25 years and has written a book entitled “Beware Dobermanns, Donkeys and Ducks”, recounting some of her experiences. She has actively campaigned with Compassion on issues ranging from live animal exports to turkeys. She is a great supporter of Compassion’s fundraising dinners, where she books an entire table so that more of her friends can support Compassion’s work.
