Take action for Tesco chickens
Tesco's policies are causing immense suffering to millions of chickens.
We must end this cruelty now by calling on the UK's largest supermarket to stop selling eggs from caged hens.
Send the Rotten Egg Award e-card below, urging Tesco to end the sale of eggs from caged hens:
Dear Sir Terry Leahy,
For failing to take welfare of laying hens seriously I declare Tesco a 'Rotten Egg.' I urge you to make a commitment to stop selling eggs from caged hens.
Other supermarkets like The Cooperative, Sainsbury's and Waitrose have made clear commitments to phase out caged egg production and have received Good Egg Awards from Compassion in World Farming.
It would be great to see Tesco listed as a 'Good Egg' next year.
