Compassion in World Farming is the only charity dedicated solely to improving the welfare of farm animals in the UK, Europe and beyond.
The challenge of tackling factory farming, the largest form of cruelty on the planet, merits our focused approach. We have a history of success in achieving essential, but incremental, improvements to the welfare of farmed animals. Now, we are actively campaigning to bring about an end to factory farming this century and you can play a pivotal role.
We are seeking a motivated and inspirational Online Project Manager to lead on our new and exciting campaign - developing its voice and creating something memorable that delivers movement building on a global scale with an honest, authentic approach.
Accountable for campaign strategy development and project management, your additional responsibilities will include editorial control of web content, email campaign creation and reaching out to external blogs and online communities to promote our campaign. As such, you will have a great appreciation for Internet tools and will be a natural communicator with excellent written English.
Fundamentally, the successful applicant will have solid project management experience with a track record of NGO campaign management and/or delivering online projects - within an agency environment for example. You should, therefore, be able to demonstrate how you have thrived in a fast-paced, demanding and sometimes unstructured environment, delivering innovation with integrity, energy and passion!
