DVDs and printed resources are also available free to educational institutions except where otherwise stated.
They are supplied in PDF format. To view PDFs you will need the PDF reader, available from Adobe. To download the files without opening them in the browser, right click (CTRL+Click on a Mac) the link and choose "Save Target As...".

19 minute archive education film discussing methods and animal welfare implications of the genetic modification of farm animals. Produced in 1997, but it will still set you up for a stimulating lesson (ages 14-18)

Remarkable 22 minute film from the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour will hold children and teachers entranced. Teaches needs of animals using delightful farm animal stories (ages 7-11 but you can persuade almost anyone to love this film)
Secondary resources for older primary students
Use the film Farm Animals & Us to engage 10-11 year old children in the rights and wrongs of intensive animal farming. Extracts from the teachers’ pack including Where Do You Draw the Line? and Personality Test Version 2 particularly suitable (ages 10-11)
