Sir Crispin Tickell GCMG KCVO
Sir Crispin Tickell has forged the way in linking environmental issues - in particular climate change issues - to the worlds of politics and business. For many years he was an informal adviser on such topics to successive British Prime Ministers. He was Director of the Policy Foresight Programme at the James Martin 21st Century School at Oxford University. He has also been a Trustee of the Natural History Museum. Sir Crispin has been a valued Patron of Compassion for many years.
“The food we eat comes from the rich productivity of the natural world. Good farming requires us to respect as well as make best use of a vast range of organisms - animals, plants and soils - and exactly how we do so is the mission of Compassion in World Farming. It deserves all the support it can get.”
