Action closed: Parmesan is ignoring cows’ suffering

Thank you for your interest in supporting our investigation into farms producing milk for Parmesan and Grana Padano that revealed the horrible suffering of Italian dairy cows.

After our campaign we started a positive dialogue with the Parmesan Consortium. Parmesan will gather a working group aiming at planning actions to improve the welfare of the cows of the Consortium and the work will start in March 2021. CIWF Italy was invited to take part in the working group.

For this reason CIWF Italy, as well as the other members of the working group, won't release any statement in order to allow a profitable work.
