Farmageddon is being published in the US three months earlier than planned due to its success in the UK. Already on its third reprint in the UK, strong sales and high profile have prompted publishers, Bloomsbury to make the book available in the US much earlier than planned – from early April.
We are also receiving an exciting level of asks for speaking opportunities, both here and abroad. Last week I made my literary festival debut in Oxford, speaking and signing books. I am also hugely grateful to Sir John and Lady Hannam for hosting us the day before for the first ever ‘Friends of Farmageddon’ lunch gathering! It was a real pleasure to talk with good and influential friends about what we learned as we crossed continents to uncover cheap meat’s dirty secret.
I am now heading to Brussels to speak at the European Parliament’s sustainable food conference, sharing a platform with a fascinating line-up of speakers including the UN Rapporteur to the Right to Food, Olivier De Schutter.
Saturday, I’ll be back in London discussing the future of meat at the TOAST event in London – hope to see you there.
