A Chatham House conference this week will address the idea of sustainable intensification, a phrase that Compassion thinks is gobbledegook.

The conference will look at whether intensification can be delivered sustainably in agriculture, using existing and new technology.

But Compassion feels strongly that sustainable intensification is an oxymoron.
