Compassion’s ‘Time to Decide’ film wins award

We are extremely pleased to announce that our film Time to Decide has won an award.

The film that was devised and created for Compassion by Catsnake received a bronze award in the Brand Communication/Experience (film) category, yesterday (Wednesday 30th September), at this year’s EVCOM Clarion Awards. The award recognises a brand building campaign film that delivers outstanding sustainability.

Time to Decide was produced to launch our End the Cage Age campaign. The film takes the viewer on a journey through history and shows how every generation must decide what injustice and cruelty it will tolerate. It ends in 2015 where the time has come for this generation to End the Cage Age.

James West, Compassion’s Campaign Manager, says: “We are thrilled with this win. Catsnake did a stellar job in understanding our End the Cage Age campaign and the message we wanted to get across to anyone watching the film.

“We do not live in the dark ages. It is high time we evolved past such cruelty and put a stop to the practice of keeping farm animals behind bars. Time to Decide conveys that message in a concise yet emotive way.”

Cages confine and restrict animals, preventing their natural behaviour. However, despite the obvious failings of this outdated technology, in Europe, around 700 million farm animals are still confined in cages every year.
