We’ve got some great ideas to help inspire your virtual or socially distanced fundraising! Any-bunny can get involved; whether you are an avid higher welfare baker, an adrenaline junkie or just simply want to clear out your cupboards.

Become a sponsored superhero for animals!

Ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you for doing a chosen activity. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Get active!

  • Whether you’re a seasoned marathon runner or would prefer to take on a lighter challenge, you can get active to help animals! Just pick a date and run, jump, hop or swim your chosen distance in aid of farm animals.
  • If you’re feeling brave, you could take on an extreme challenge such as a skydive or mountain climb!
1. Get active!

Give something up

  • Are you a caffeine addict or a chocaholic? Why not give up your vice for farm animals and get sponsored for doing it?!
2. Give something up

Try something new

  • Make a difference for farm animals 3 times a day by going vegan or vegetarian for a chosen period of time! (This makes a great month-long challenge!)
3. Try something new

Other ways to get sponsored

  • Turn your favourite activity into a marathon?! For example, you could organise a video game-athon and stream your gameplay on Twitch! Other marathon activities could include a dance-athon, yoga-athon, read-athon, board game-athon… You get the idea!
  • If you fancy a bold new look you could even shave your head or dye your hair a crazy colour!

Stay connected while helping farm animals

It’s easy to feel isolated during these uncertain times, so we have compiled several fun ideas to keep you connected with friends and family, whilst also helping farm animals!

Cute farm animal cakes with pig, chicken and cow decorations

Why not organise a virtual or socially distanced dinner party with family or friends? You could request a donation to attend, or even ask guests to donate what they would have spent on a meal out!

Child with face mask on playing games console

Arrange an online gaming night with friends with a suggested donation to join the party! You could split into different farm animal teams in a tournament, e.g. Team Hen vs Team Pig!

Man and woman drinking wine and cheering in front of laptop, with a dog

Host a virtual pub quiz with friends and family over Zoom or House Party. You could even make it farm animal themed! To raise some funds, you request a suggested donation for each team to enter, with proceeds to Compassion.

Popcorn and clapperboard

Arrange your very own virtual movie night with friends! Simply choose a movie and press play at the same time. You could even video call your friends while you watch the film Gogglebox-style! Donate the money you would have spent on cinema tickets and snacks.

Use your talents to help farm animals

Would you like to get creative, or do you have a hidden talent you’d like to use to fundraise for farm animals?

A canvas painting of a highland cow

Paint or draw something and auction it (or sell prints). You could get the kids involved and create some farm animal decorations or cards to sell in aid of farm animals!

Man in yellow hat playing yellow guitar

Why not host a virtual gig and charge a suggested donation for virtual or socially distanced attendance!

Slice of chocolate cake with an edible flower

How about getting competitive and hosting your very own virtual Bake off with family and friends?! Simply ask for a suggested donation to enter, with the proceeds to go to Compassion.
