Activities for parents and children

Something for lockdown. Short films and interactive presentations for children and adults.

Activities for primary age (up to 11)

Specially for children and parents, we have developed some new resources on pigs, on dairy cows and on hens and chickens including some great short films and an interactive presentations full of questions to discuss together.

The short films should be suitable for any age. Our interactive presentation is aimed at children aged 7-11, though you may like to adapt them for younger ones by editing some slides out.

There are more ideas including “teachers’ notes” at our Primary Schools and Young Children’s Resources.

Activities for secondary age (11-18)

We have 2 great discussion activities which you can view on the screen or print off.

We also have some engaging films (please note we recommend parental viewing for these, though this shouldn’t be necessary for "A life worth living").
